Yoga for you, a new mum…or a mum finding themselves again.

Our purely Postnatal Yoga is the latest addition to the Yogita London portfolio. It is a class which is open to all postnatal mums from six weeks (or eight if you’ve had a Caesarean) and beyond.

As it’s a Purely Postnatal session you’ll be able to ask and address any issues which you believe may be related or aggravated by pregnancy, birth or your postnatal period.

We would suggest that the upper limit of the class is joining us at just under a year after baby is born as we appreciate that by the time you’ve found your feet, and it’s time to take a moment out to do something for you and the restoration and strengthening of your body, it could be well beyond the traditional postnatal period time frame.

Our classes are wonderful for the strengthening and support you need for the next stage of your childs development as you find lifting and carrying a little more challenging, especially on the back. Also, you may be thinking about your body in terms of preparation for your next child and the journey ahead to the point of conception.

Our class is lead by a dedicated teacher who has a passion for all things pregnancy, postnatal and teen yoga – so you are in perfect hands!

Perfectly timed for the end of the week when you may be feeling the need for a little down time and rejuvenation our classes will run on a Thursday evening. Further details are to follow and we are beginning to take bookings as places are limited.

We will also be giving you some information and sequences that you can undertake at home with Baby as well as access to the Yogita London where you will find videos, articles and also how you can continue on your yoga practice after your postnatal period.

Finally, at Yogita London we want to make it as easy as possible to come to class, so you don’t need to worry about bringing anything with you as all equipment is provided. Please feel free to wear something that feels comfortable and that you can move around in easily. Protection Status
